A challenging task
VIVA Scandinavia gave Onø Design the challenge to design a new double walled drinking glass.
Not an easy task when you consider the amount of various designs on the market.
However, we came up with some nice improvements which brings great advantages for the user.
We simply designed a lip on the edge of the glass so you can feel the temperature of the content, thus preventing burns. Furthermore, as opposed to other double walled glasses, this design with its single layer of glass on the edge, gives the same precise sensation as drinking from a traditional single walled glass.
A very simple idea that will hit the market February 2015.
